Shanay Timpishka

Have you heard about a boiling river before ?  Do you know that if you fall into it you will be totally cooked ? seems like a fairytale , so let me get this straight to you .

Shanay Timpishka it's a local name given to a boiling river of 86° C flowing for 6.24 km in Peru and more precisley in the wonderful Amazon , the locals (Shamans)  narrate that this river is protected by a power , the holy snake Yacumama the mother of the water who gives birth to the water living things , the differencial temperature between the warm water and the cold pourring rain in the Amazon makes the place white , you can't sea anything just vapor and whiteness , kind of amazing ! some spots in the river are deadly and some are not , the locals were using this hot water for cooking ,for their daily activities , it's just a part of their life !

Andrés Ruzo as a geoscientist and an explorer of this wonderful river , he said that this river is totally different from the other geothermal systems . As we know and we grasp , the boiling rivers that do exist in the earth are close to volcanos and along the south american west cost we have a spread of an active volcanos except in the Amazon and even around Peru , but the mysterious thing here is that Shanay Timpishka has no relation with any volcanic activity despite the nearest volcanic spot is about 700 km, is it awesome !! so we conclude that this boiling river is another secret of earth , it's exceptional and particular in its story  , so the question is what's the origin of this river ? Depending on Andrés's founded data , there's another geothermal system , estimating the coming waters from the glacial Andes mountains penetrating into the deep of earth and as we know the more we go into the depths of the earth the more we have a high degrees of temperature , it's just the geothermal gradient , then these waters goes up to the surface and flowing with this high level of temperature which it brought it from the depth .
